"To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the otherworldly classic The Thing, and sharing the interests we do, we decided to write and record an EP heavily influenced and affected by the movie itself as well as its impactful soundtrack. While all of the sounds heard throughout the release are self-produced and unique, we aimed to inflate the sonic palette with familiar echoes and similar disjointed reverberations that can be found in the confines of this majestic effort that keeps unveiling more and more layers to it decades after its release. We hope you find this recording as uneasy and thematically invasive as we do. Enjoy."
